How it works
anzbargains.com runs on its members. Here is how the whole thing fits together.
Finding deals
- Hot shows what the community has voted up most.
- New shows the latest submissions, before voting has settled.
- Top this week is the best of the last seven days.
- Switch region at the top to see Australian or New Zealand deals. Prices show in the right currency.
Voting
Members can upvote or downvote each deal, once. Votes decide what appears at the top, so vote on whether a deal is genuinely good, not on whether you happen to want the item.
Posting a deal
Create an account, then use Submit deal. A good post includes:
- The real price and the usual price, so the saving is clear
- A direct link to the product, not to a homepage or a search page
- Any catches worth knowing — shipping cost, stock levels, membership requirements, expiry
- The coupon code, if one is needed
Submissions are reviewed before they go live. Referral-only links and inflated “was” prices get removed.
Karma
You earn karma for posting deals and for the upvotes they receive. It is a rough measure of how useful your contributions have been. Members with a solid record can be given trusted status, which lets their deals publish without review.
Saving deals
Tap the star on any deal to keep it. Saved deals live on your account page.
Expired deals
We mark deals as expired rather than deleting them, so you can see what something has sold for before. Expired deals do not appear in search results.
How we make money
Affiliate commission and advertising. Neither costs you anything or affects what gets featured — see the affiliate disclosure.
