Affiliate disclosure
Short version: some links on this site earn us money. It never costs you more, and it never changes which deals we feature.
How affiliate links work
When you click through to a retailer from anzbargains.com and then buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had gone to the retailer directly.
We work with affiliate networks including {{TODO: list the networks you have joined, for example Commission Factory, Awin, Amazon Associates}} and with some retailers directly.
What this does not affect
- Your price. Never higher because you came through us.
- Community votes. Members vote on deals, and we do not weight the results.
- What gets posted. Members submit deals whether or not there is a commission attached, and plenty of what we feature earns us nothing.
Advertising
We display ads, which are marked as advertising and served by third parties. We do not choose the specific ads shown to you, and an advertiser appearing here is not an endorsement.
Sponsored deals
If a retailer ever pays for placement, that deal is clearly labelled as sponsored. {{TODO: If you do not currently accept paid placement, say so instead — it builds trust and you can change it later.}}
Why we tell you this
Because you should know. It is also required: the ACCC in Australia and the Commerce Commission in New Zealand both expect commercial relationships to be disclosed clearly, and Google’s advertising policies require the same.
